• CV;
• personal questionnaire of the candidate applying for the employment (see the attached pdf file);
• certified copies of documents confirming the attainment of an academic degree, and in the case of documents prepared in a language other than Polish, an authenticated translation into Polish as well as a certificate of equivalence;
• list of scientific publications;
• copy of the other documents confirming scientific achievements, professional qualifications as well as additional competences;
• information on scientific and organizational activity as well as teaching experience;
• candidate’s statement that Lublin University of Technology will be the place of primary employment (see the attached pdf file);
• candidate’s statement of consent to the processing of personal data necessary in the recruitment process (see the attached pdf file);
• information from the National Criminal Register concerning offenses specified in Chapters XIX and XXV, Article 189a, and Article 207 of the Penal Code, as well as the Act of July 29, 2005, on Counteracting Drug Addiction, and in the case of individuals holding citizenship of a country other than the Republic of Poland, information from the criminal register of another country or statements referred to in Article 21(5-7) of the Act of May 13, 2016, on Counteracting the Threats of Sexual Crime and Protecting Minors;
• candidate’s statement that he/she is familiar with the Regulations on Reporting Legal Violations at Lublin University of Technology (see the attached pdf file).

Documents should be submitted to the Administration Office of the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technology at Lublin University of Technology, Nadbystrzycka 38, room 8, 20-618 Lublin, Poland with the following annotation: “Open competition for the assistant professor position at the Department of Applied Mathematics LUT” or sent via e-mail to (e-mail subject: “Open competition for the assistant professor position at the Department of Applied Mathematics LUT”) by February 10, 2025. Please be informed that the maximum size of files attached to a single e-mail must not exceed 25 MB. The employment is planned to start on February 24, 2025.As part of the competition settlement, apart from candidates’ qualifications, human-resource needs of the Department of Applied Mathematics at the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technology LUT will be also taken into account, especially in terms of conducting specialized classes in the field of mathematics as well as engineering and data analysis.Employee will be selected based on evaluation of submitted applications. Settlement of the competition will not result in employment relationship. Final decision will be made by the Rector of Lublin University of Technology. University reserves the right to close the competition without settlement as well as to reply only to selected applications.Please be informed that documents of the candidates whose applications are rejected will be shredded in 60 days after the end of competition. • very good command of the English language;
• predisposition to scientific and didactic work;
• readiness to scientific work in the discipline of information and communication technology;
• experience in the field of research projects will be appreciated.
