Period of employment: fixed-term agreement, 2 yearsThe competition is open to each candidate who meets the requirements set out in the Higher Education and Science Act of July 20th 2018 (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668 as amended) and the Statute of University of Wroclaw.RequirementsThe candidate is required to have: * Hold a doctoral degree.

• Have at least two scholarly works in the area of social communication and media studies published in journals from the list of the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
• Have teaching experience at academic level in the area of social communication and media studies.
• Speak fluent Polish, which would enable them to teach students at academic level, and know English at the level which would enable them to participate in international scholarly communication.

Responsibilities:In the research area: * Conducting both individual and team research in the field of social communication and media studies and publishing its results.In the teaching area: * Conducting classes in selected aspects of digital media information and data analysis, and digital cultural heritage.In the organisational area: * Participating in the organisation of academic conferences, editing academic publications, popularising science, participating in organisational work.Required documents * Personal questionnaire of the person applying for employment (download
