Trinity College Dublin- an introduction Post Summary: The School of Education seeks to appoint an Assistant Professor in Intellectual Disability: Inclusive Post-Secondary Education. The successful candidate will be expected to teach on, and coordinate, the Arts, Science and Inclusive Applied Practice (ASIAP) programme which is aimed at students who have an intellectual disability. The successful candidate will be expected to lead on academic developments in this emerging area. The programme is located in the Trinity Centre for People with Intellectual Disabilities (TCPID) within the School of Education. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the research profile of the Centre and support the School’s existing and proposed programmes in the area of intellectual disability and post-secondary education, particularly on the school’s initial teacher education programmes (PME and B.Mus. Ed.). Post status: 5 Year Fixed Term, Tenure Track Hours of Post: Hours of work for academic staff are those as prescribed under Public Service Agreements.
