Offer DescriptionThe Mathematics Center invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor (full-time). The responsibilities will include conducting teaching activities in mathematics, developing open educational resources, and contributing to the initiatives and operations of the Center.TASKS/ROLE

• teaching mathematics at the Gdańsk University of Technology in Polish language
• creating open educational resources
• improving qualifications
• service to the Mathematics Center

• candidates should have a doctoral degree in mathematical sciences or equivalent
• at least a 5-year experience in teaching mathematics at a university
• fluent knowledge of the Polish language
• experience in conducting classes on an LMS platform, e.g. Moodle
• self-reliance and good organizational skill
• saccountability and ability to work in a team

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• working knowledge of LaTeX
• working knowledge of Matlab
• B2 level of English language
