Offer DescriptionIndividuals eligible to participate in the competition must meet the requirements specified in Article 113 of the Act of July 20, 2018, on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws 2018, item 1668), and comply with the following qualification criteria: * PhD in chemistry or pharmacy with specialisation in synthetic organic chemistry or similar specialisation which belong to the field of experimental organic chemistry;

• experience in chemistry of nanoparticles or supramolecular chemistry;
• experience in experimental organic chemistry, particularly chemistry heterocyclic compounds;
• ability to use basic organic laboratory equipment;
• knowledge of physicochemical methods of analysis of organic compounds (e.g NMR, MS, XRD);
• knowledge of English language, equivalent to B1 level or higher proved by declaration of applicant.

Additional criteria: * the candidate was not employed at KUL in the last two years before taking up employment in the project;

• during the period of employment in the project, the candidate will not be employed by another employer on the basis of an employment contract, including an employer based outside Poland and will not have received other gratification from funds associated with grants of National Science Centre (NCN).

Description of tasks: * synthesis of selected QUINONE METHIDES and QUINONE METHIDES -ANTICANCER DRUGS ensembles and GOLD NANOPARTICLE conjugates;

• participation in scientific publications and conference presentations.

• declaration that candidate do not earned any remunerations from other National Science Centre (NCN) projects;
• signed declaration that applicant have respected the catholic character of the University (KUL);
• signed declaration that KUL will be the main place of work of the candidate.
