Offer DescriptionRECTOROF CZESTOCHOWA UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGYannounces a competition for the post ofAssistant Professor(RESEARCH AND TEACHING POSITION)AT THE DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRICAL POWER ENGINEERINGat the Faculty of Electrical EngineeringCandidates who enter the competition are expected to meet the conditions defined in the Act of 20 July 2018, Law on Higher Education and Science, (Journal of Laws (Dz. U.) of 2023, item 742, as amended), the Statute of Czestochowa University of Technology as well as detailed requirements determined by the selection board of a given unit.Conditions for entering the competition: * Declaration of publishing in the field of engineering and technical sciences in the discipline of automatic control, electronics, electrical engineering and space technologies mentioning Czestochowa University of Technology as the affiliation.

• Availability to work full-time at Czestochowa University of Technology for one year.
• A PhD degree in the field of electrical engineering, automatic control, electronics or mechanical engineering.
• Knowledge of general issues related to electrical engineering or automatic control or electronics, in particular concerning electromagnetic field shielding.
• Ability to perform electrical measurements, including the operation of signal generators, oscilloscopes or electrical meters.
• Ability to operate software used for design and simulation (e.g. Matlab/Simulink, Autodesk Inventor pro, Solid works, Moldex 3D).
• A good command of the English language.
• A good command of the Polish language – applies to foreigners.
• A recommendation letter from a DSc or ProfTit.

Required documents: * Application for the post of Assistant Professor (research and teaching position) submitted to His Magnificence Rector of Czestochowa University of Technology by the intermediary of the Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering.

• A record of academic, professional, teaching, and organizational achievements as well as completed internships.
• Copies of employment certificates.
• Declaration of publishing.
• Candidate’s declaration stating that Czestochowa University of Technology will be his/her primary workplace, pursuant to the Act of 20 July 2018, Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 742, as amended).
