I am recruiting for an established specialist construction business ona jumber of new schemes around Oxford.

The company are a specialist contrctor oin bespoke design and buld new properties as well as listed building refurbs and remodelling schemes . Their growth and success over the last 10 years has been amazing but they still retain a family feel to the business in terms of values and how they treat staff, clients and the wider supply chain.They work on referrals and negotiated schemes and they are with the client every step of the way offering advice, support and finding new and innovative ways of working.

The projects are all JCT form of contract and are negotiated, priced, procured and managed as a tpical scheme for a regional or Tier 1 contrctor

Your duties will be to work with the estimating and bid teams to firm up prices and costs for each package based on the initial bids, compile a working scope of works and bill of quants for each package and work with the supply chain to establish how each phase will be delivered. Place orders, arrange pre start meetings and then manage the scheme in conjunction with the delivery team and carry out the standard QS role of valuations, payments, remeasures, managing variation accounts, CVR’s and weekly, monthly reporting and forecasting through to final account all under the supervision of a Senior Qs who will help with your training and development.

They will be interested in taking people part way through university studies and can transfer and continue to fund courses.
