Day by day we strive to create a great employee experience, we are proud to be awarded as a Great Place to Work.YOUR CAREER, DELIVEREDJoin DGF Global Service Center Budapest – we are looking for Agents in Air Freight (AFR) service line!Job Title: Associate – AFRJob Location: BudapestIn this role, you will have the opportunity to work upon one or more back-end services for the Air freight service line, supporting countries, regions, or global and ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks/target assigned. You will be part of a larger team, sharing best practices & working upon the services with continuous improvement approach.Key Responsibilities:

  • To understand the requirement of the station’s / country’s documentation and ensure jobs are executed as per standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure department SLAs and all Key Performance Indicators are being met as per the agreed delivery guidelines.
  • Operate on the services according to the shifts, countries, or regions aligned.
  • Deliver a high level of service quality through timely and accurate completion of services.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the business to identify solutions, best practices, and opportunities to improve the service to our business partners.
  • Flag any challenges in the operations to the immediate supervisor and business partner in a timely manner.
  • Co-ordinate with the relevant stakeholders for regular communication and flow of information as defined for the respective service.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Higher or secondary specialized education preferred but not a must.
  • Preferred qualification: Knowledge of freight forwarding, logistics, foreign trade.
  • Preferred special professional skills: Knowledge of sea/ocean or air transport
  • 0 – 3 years of job experience from BPO or logistics domain – Preferred
  • Air Freight experience will be preferred
  • Good knowledge in MS office
  • Effective English communication skills, written and verbal
  • Exposure to working with Enterprise Resource Platforms (ERPs) – Preferred
  • Good logical reasoning skills
  • High level of customer centricity

Other information you may need to know –

  • Our DHL Building is located at BUD International Airport.
  • We work from 8:00 to 17:00, with 1 hour lunch break.
  • As an agent working closely with stations located in other European countries, you may be required to work on Hungarian national holidays – for which you will be compensated in accordance with the Hungarian Labor Code.
