The team is one of 3 teams in the HSE department, with a total of +40 HSE engineers. Your team is specialized within Machinery and Process Safety, ATEX, CE-Marking, and a lot more. In this position, you’ll bring your solid knowledge within Process and Machinery Safety aspects into play every day. And you take pride in supporting the team, while keeping focus on resolving problems to the benefit of all stakeholders.Location Virum Department Health, Safety & Environment

As an Associate Manager, you’ll be working with a cross-disciplinary team, dedicated to creating a safe working environment in the pharma industry. The job will require weekly presence at both our Virum and Kalundborg office. Here you’ll be:

• The daily manager of approximately 15 HSE Engineers

• Conducting touchpoints with your employees to ensure a good and inspirational working environment that enhance the performance and well-being of your team

• Part of the HSE department management team, setting objectives and delivering results that significantly impact the department and company goals

• Performing tasks within the area of: Safety of machinery and process equipment, Risk Assessment, ATEX and Safety solutions in complex installations

The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:

• You have a degree in engineering within Engineering, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical production or equivalent

• You have experience in people management and/or team management

• You have experience from the life science manufacturing industry or other similar industries

• You possess in-depth knowledge of the current local and global safety legislation and standards

• You speak and write Danish and English fluently
