This is a great moment to join us as we are hiring an Associate Portfolio Manager/Portfolio Manager (f/m/d). This position is based in Paris. 

What you will do

• Work in the AllianzGI Paris office, as an integrated member of the Investment Grade team
• Be an active investor in our IG team, will have security selection responsibilities and work with credit research and trading teams
• Bring sustainable investing convictions into the investment process and collaborate with our sustainability team
• Implement or support implementing investment decisions in portfolios, and authorize orders
• Collaborate with team heads, product specialists and other portfolio managers in creating internal investment-related materials, marketing presentations, reports for clients and responding to client requests
• Contribute to the Investment Grade, Credit, or other relevant meetings
• Support on detailed projects
• Occasional travels to other office premises, mostly in Frankfurt and London

What you bring

• University degree or equivalent qualification in Economics, Finance or Mathematics or similarly numerate degree preferred
• Knowledge of Bloomberg, MSCI, Thinkfolio would be preferable
• 7 to 10 years experience, total return portfolio management and/or fundamental credit research experience
• Experience with Credit Fundamentals
• Strong understanding of sustainable investing, focus on Green Bonds would be beneficial
• Excellent analytical and verbal communication skills
• Thoroughness, reliability and attention to detail
• Extremely hard-working, possessing a high degree of integrity and personal responsibility
• Ability to seize the initiative and to logically solve tasks & problems
• Intellectual and cultural curiosity – desire to progress
• Capacity of being a team player and to interact with other AllianzGI teams
• Proficient user of the standard Microsoft office tools. Coding skills in Python or MATLAB would be seen as a plus
• Fluency in English, proficiency in French and other European language preferred
• CFA certificate or progress preferred
