As the Associate Software Product Owner, you will be a part of a Software squad team and in the role you will ensuring the delivery of high-quality applications within our product portfolio. You’ll collaborate closely with a Marketing Product Management, other Software Product Teams and early stage research teams to define the new features to be added to the product by defining and prioritizing backlog items. Along side the Delivery Manager you will drive project to success.Key Responsibilities:Define user stories and maintain the product backlog to align with the product vision and goals.Prioritize and order the product backlog to ensure important tasks are given top priority.Analyze user needs and system requirments to derive functional designs and software requirements.Contribute to product conceptualization and take ownership of feature designs from system level to delivery.Provide product support for internal and external stakeholders.Write, maintain, and coordinate technical documentation, including Software Requirements Specifications.Minimum Key Incumbent Requirements:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.2+ years in Agile software teams, with experience from defining software products.Communication and stakeholder management skills.In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodologies.Desired Skills:Experience working in regulated environments.Technical knowledge and interest in the technical solutionUnderstanding of product design principles and emerging technologies.How we recognise your contributionWe want Cochlear to be a place where our people truly enjoy coming to work.
