Euronet seeks to employ a skilled and motivated Azure DevOps Engineer to join , an exciting greenfield project, building the next big thing on wallets & payments.Throo is a Greek fintech startup that was acquired by Euronet, a global financial services leader, and therefore will offer the excitement, innovation, and agility of a startup on one hand, and the stability and global reach of a robust international corporate on the other.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deploy and manage Azure & K8s infrastructure with Terraform/Ansible.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines, maintain infrastructure templates, collaborate with dev & ops teams, and optimize delivery.
- Design and manage Azure resources, landing zones, and networking services.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and configuration management for all environments using open-source solutions.
- Support containerized deployments, enforce security best practices, and ensure compliance.
- Manage configurations and database schema in release pipelines using Ansible.
- Provide technical guidance, collaborate across teams, and participate in on-call support as needed (nights/weekends).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
- 3–5 years of DevOps experience in a production environment.
- Hands-on experience with Azure and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes (Openshift is a plus).
- Strong Linux knowledge and expertise in IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible – both is a plus).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python).
- Experience with CI/CD, Git, automated DB updates, monitoring, and logging tools (e.g., Zabbix, Azure Monitor, ELK stack, Grafana, Prometheus).
- Good networking and database knowledge (Postgres/MySQL is a plus).
- Fluency in English & Hungarian both verbal and written.
- Eligible to work in the EU on full-time permanent basis without the need of employer sponsorship.
