Join Citi’s Bank Account Completeness Team in Budapest and make your own progress in a supportive and friendly environment!Global Reconciliation Utility (GRU) is part of the Services, Markets, Banking & International and Client (SMB & IC) organization with presence in 13 countries across 4 regions.This role will perform ongoing investigations to ensure completeness and accuracy of Citi’s bank account repository (ABACUS), coordinate annual ABACUS bank account attestation and monitor adherence to Citi’s bank account procedure. The individual will work closely with many areas of the Firm (Bank Network Management, Finance, Operations groups, Funding units, Technology). The candidate will additionally have external contact with Bank Providers.Responsibilities:Annual Citi-Owned Bank Account Attestation: Analyze accounts eligible for Straight Through Processing (STP) and run KPI and ad hoc reporting. Liaise with Citi internal contacts to obtain attestation of Citi-owned Bank Cash Accounts and investigate never attested accountsAccount Reference Architecture Exception Management: Perform ongoing investigations to ensure adequate remediation of exceptions for Citi-owned Bank Cash Accounts. Monitoring status of aged exceptions. Work closely with many areas of the Firm; get approval for account ownership and ensure data accuracy and completeness in ABACUSMultiple parallel projects: Own and investigate bank accounts assigned for no GL exercise, never attested initiative, control escalation and etc.Analyze large disparate data, perform various reporting and UAT testing, communicate across various levels and geographies of the organization, work with senior leadership to define, implement and process sustainable controlsExercise sound judgement regarding the proper application of accounting principles to reconciliationsEffectively communicate with team members, management and business partnersIdeal background:3-5 years of experience in the international financial services industryBachelor’s or University degreeExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishKnowledge of Data Management policy requirementsExperience working collaboratively across various areas of the organizationExcellent planning and organizational skills and a self-starter personAbility to communicate business rationale to internal and external counterpartsGood research and analysis skillsAdvanced MS Excel skillsPreferred experience in banking operationsWhat we can offer you:By joining Citi Hungary, you will not only be part of a business casual workplace with a hybrid working model (up to 2 days working at home per week), but also receive a competitive compensation package and enjoy a whole host of additional benefits that support you (and your family) to be well, live well and save well:
