Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to be recruiting for a Bank Project Worker at our OFSTED registered Young People Scheme, Victoria Road in Hartlepool.

 The role of Bank Project Worker will include:

-Regularly assessing the needs of customers by writing and updating support plans, and signposting access to education, training, and employment
style=”margin-bottom:0.0cm;margin-top:0.0px”-
-Supporting customers in their day to day living i.e., with cooking and cleaning
style=”margin-bottom:0.0cm;margin-top:0.0px”-
-Offering advice in relation to fulfilling tenancy conditions
style=”margin-bottom:0.0cm;margin-top:0.0px”-
-Assisting customers with managing finances and welfare benefits
style=”margin-bottom:0.0cm;margin-top:0.0px”-
-Encouraging social inclusion and helping customers to build their confidence, resilience, and self-esteem
style=”margin-bottom:0.0cm;margin-top:0.0px”-
-Ensuring Sanctuary Supported Living delivers its safeguarding responsibilities
 

 Skills and experiences:

-Proven experience of working with vulnerable people
style=”margin-bottom:0.0cm;margin-top:0.0px”-
-A positive approach to working with young people who have a range of needs
style=”margin-bottom:0.0cm;margin-top:0.0px”-
-Good interpersonal and customer care skills, with an approachable attitude
style=”margin-bottom:0.0cm;margin-top:0.0px”-
-Effective communication skills
style=”margin-bottom:0.0cm;margin-top:0.0px”-
-Sound knowledge of action/support planning, key working, risk assessment and safeguarding

-Ability to work on your own initiative

-Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel or similar
