Bedmaker
- Part-time (20 – 25 hrs per week)
- £11.00 per hour (20 hrs £11,481 PA, 25 hrs £14,352 PA)
The College is seeking to appoint part-time Bedmakers in the Household Department to perform various cleaning duties across the college. You will work as part of a friendly and culturally diverse team where you will be required to work Monday to Friday mornings and early afternoons, with very occasional weekend working. Child friendly working hours can be offered.

Chef de Partie
Salary: £27,727- £29,908 per annum (inclusive of 4.5% split shift payment)
The catering team at Emmanuel College (known as ‘Emma’) is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Chef de Partie. Boasting a Head Chef who has represented the UK as part of National Culinary Team, ‘Emma’ is renowned for its excellent food. The catering team provides high quality dining and an efficient and professional standard of service to College members and external clients. Food service ranges from high volume cafeteria-style service to fine dining. Made up of 2 teams of 4 chefs working opposite shift patterns (including split shift working), the team is close-knit and supportive. Workload varies through the academic year and during holiday times, when conferences, weddings and special events are hosted. Personal and professional development are a priority, enabling employees to flourish. Participation in the various competitive catering events both locally and nationally is encouraged and supported.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of NVQ level 2 or equivalent in Professional Cookery, a passion for food and cookery, be a great team player and able to demonstrate a working knowledge of food law and allergen information. This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week, including some evening and alternate weekends on a rota basis. Further details can be found within the Job Description.

Deputy Front of House Manager
£33,444 per annum (inclusive of 4.5% monthly shift allowance)
This is an exciting opportunity to help lead the Front of House Team at Emmanuel College (known as ‘Emma’). Headed up by the Front of House Manager, the Team delivers excellent food service to a variety of customers (both internal and external) in a traditional environment. We are seeking to appoint a Deputy Front of House Manager.
The ideal post-holder will be confident and composed in approach, qualified and knowledgeable in relevant Food Allergen and Food Hygiene training, and Health & Safety legislation. Able to work well in a team, motivate, and lead by example, we are looking for an individual with experience of working in Hospitality & Catering at a supervisory level. Customer-focused and keen to help, you will be able to demonstrate a courteous and professional manner in an often-pressured environment. Knowledge and proficiency in IT (MS Office in particular) are desirable. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, including some evening and alternate weekends on a rota basis.

Personal Assistant to the Bursar
- Full or Part Time

Supporting the Bursar within their role of managing all non-academic functions of the College, this role will include supporting the Bursar to develop strong working relationships both within and outside of the College.
