A wonderful opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and experienced Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant mainstream primary school in Balham. This role is focused on supporting Key Stage 2 pupils with behavioural and special educational needs (SEN).

Behaviour Mentor / Teaching Assistant Key Details:

* Start Date: Immediate start.
* Contract: Full-time, long-term role.
* Location: Balham, easily accessible by public transport.
* Specialism: Behaviour and SEN support for Key Stage 2 pupils.

Responsibilities Include:

* Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils with behavioral challenges.
* Assisting in managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment.
* Implementing strategies and interventions to support students with SEN.
* Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff members to promote inclusion and progress.
* Building strong, positive relationships with pupils to foster trust and engagement.

Candidate Requirements:

* Experience: Prior experience working with SEN and managing challenging behaviours in a school setting.
* Skills: Excellent communication, patience, and resilience.
* Knowledge: Understanding of SEN strategies and behavior management techniques.
* Passion: A genuine commitment to supporting and improving outcomes for children with additional needs.
