1427915Academic Appointments is currently recruiting for a Behaviour Support Worker/Learning Support Assistant to start in January within a Bradford SEND School.This particular School is looking for an experienced Behaviour Support Worker ideally with experience working with primary aged pupils. The students in the SEND School have been identified with Emotional, Social, Behavioural or Mental Health issues students may also have a Moderate Learning Difficulty such as Autism, ADHD or OCD.The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience of working effectively with primary aged pupils
• A clear understanding of classroom roles and responsibilities
• Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom settings
• Ability to build effective relationships with the Pupils
• A Keen interest in sport
• Experience in a SEND setting or with Challenging behaviour
• Team Teach trained and experience using de-escalation techniques

What we need from you:

• To be currently available for full time/Part time flexible employment.
• 2x references.
• A valid Enhanced DBS Certificate or be willing to obtain one (we can assist with this part).
