- The BI developer will play a critical role in bridging the gap between data sources and end-users, ensuring that the reporting process is efficient, reliable, and aligned with the Supply Chain Digitization strategy and goals.
- As BI Developer you will design, develop, test, and maintain comprehensive automated reporting tools and workflows that enable stakeholders to access timely and accurate information for decision-making purposes. Producing process documentation to outline mistakes and successes and refine processes going forward.
- You will need to ensure the accuracy, stability, and scalability of reports, align reporting with global best practices, and collaborate with stakeholders to validate and align data. You will implement alerts and controls for key metrics to promptly identify deviations and drive risk-reducing actions.
Major/Key Accountabilities
- Develop and maintain global reporting systems for the Supply Chain Digitization team that provide accurate and timely information for decision-making purposes. Work with IT and other stakeholders to build out a complete suite of automated reports that drive the Supply Chain Digitization strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements and ensure alignment with business goals. Translate business requirements into actionable user-friendly tools.
- Design and generate reports, dashboards, and visualizations to effectively communicate key performance indicators and trends.
- Ensure data is available and accurate to be used on internal processes.
- Align reporting across all the Supply Chain Digitization systems and dependent systems to effectively monitor implementation success.
- Investigate and propose external data sources that can bring value for supply chain processes.
- Follow the standard reporting timelines with no delays.
- Ensure stability and scalability of reports, tools and automations. Set up automatic alerts to identify errors in the automations and refresh of the reports. Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing and enforcing best practices in data management and reporting processes.
- Analyze data to identify insights, trends, and areas for improvement, and present findings to key stakeholders.
- Lead the development and optimization of reporting tools and technologies, staying abreast of industry trends and advancements.
- Train and support end-users on reporting tools and systems, promoting self-service reporting capabilities.
- Work closely with all internal stakeholders to improve user experience.
- Support cross-functional teams on the day-to-day execution of projects and initiatives.
- Create internal documentation about products created.
Experience
- Proven experience in a reporting or business intelligence role, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Experience developing ETL processes.
- Relational databases knowledge (SQL) and programming skills (SQL, Python).
- Experience developing visualization tools as an architect/developer in Power BI.
- Experience designing and developing data models that can feed visualization tools.
- Experience developing and streamlining automation processes.
- Experience managing large datasets and optimizing internal database processes.
- Experience translating requirements into actionable business solutions.
Skills and Knowledge
- MS or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or similar
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL) and databases management.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong analytical and technical skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience with working on multi stakeholder projects
- Ability to work autonomously. Ability to learn on the fly.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
