- Lead and manage the entire bid process from initial inquiry to submission, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of proposals.
- Develop and write compelling proposals that clearly articulate Siemens Energy’s value proposition, tailored to the specific needs of each customer.
- Collaborate with internal collaborators, including sales, engineering, finance, legal, and project management teams, to gather necessary information and ensure alignment on bid strategy.
- Identify and assess risks associated with bids and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
- Ensure all bids align with internal policies, customer requirements, and relevant regulations.
- Work with the finance team to develop accurate cost estimates and pricing strategies that are competitive and profitable.
- Foster positive relationships with customers throughout the bid process, addressing any questions or concerns and providing regular updates.
- Continuously improve bid processes and tools, incorporating lessons learned and standard methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certification is also valued.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and bid management software.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build positive relationships with collaborators, customers, partners, and team members.
