Are you a bike mechanic looking to make a positive impact in your community? We’re searching
for an enthusiastic technician to join our award-winning “Bike Back” project.
Refurbishing donated bikes to a professional standard, your role will be versatile and
rewarding: You’ll collaborate with people from all walks of life, including helping refugees
and asylum seekers to access free bikes.
You’ll demonstrate excellent customer service skills as you undertake bike servicing for paying
customers and work closely with our teams in local prisons to supply bikes, parts and tools.
Energised and motivated, you’ll have solid bike knowledge and great people skills. You’ll use
your strong work ethic and eye for detail to prioritise jobs and meet deadlines.
Finally, if you’re interested in formally teaching mechanics, we can support you to qualify as
a City & Guilds Tutor. However, this isn’t mandatory to accepting the role.
If you want to join a project driven by sustainability and community, we want to hear from you!
