If you’re hungry to build a varied and meaningful career in a community of brilliant and diverse minds to make a real difference, there’s only one choice.BIM and Technical Documentation Project Engineer (m/f)Bayer HealthCare Manufacturing s.r.l. is looking for a smart and motivated BIM (Building Information Modeling) and Technical Documentation Project Engineer to join our Engineering Operations and Capex Team at the Garbagnate Milanese site.Reporting directly to the Engineering Operations and Capex Lead, he/she will play a key role in managing digital drawings, technical documentation, and project engineering support.YOUR TASK AND RESPONSABILITIES:

• Manage and update 2D/3D technical drawings (e.g., floor plans, layouts, personnel/material flows) and P&ID schemes using CAD and BIM tools
• Develop, maintain, and ensure compliance of all technical documentation related to site assets, supporting the evaluation of change applications
• Manage the full lifecycle of technical documentation, including preparation, cataloging, formatting on graphic boards, and archive management, either directly or by coordinating external resources. Ensure proper archiving of approved documentation related to projects and maintenance activities to support Site Master File (SMF), Safety, Energy, and drawing updates
• Administer the Engineering Document Management System (EDMS)
• Define and implement standardization procedures and technical documentation standards
• Contribute to concept design phases alongside Technical Discipline Engineers and/or external engineering firms
• Support project permitting processes, including the preparation, review, and archiving of required documentation
• Collaborate with the Site Works Management team to supervise construction activities executed by external contractors
• Ensure accurate and complete “As Built” documentation and manage project and maintenance documentation handovers

WHO YOU ARE:

• Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil engineering (or equivalent)
• At least 2 years of experience in technical offices or engineering firms in a similar role
• Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD and Revit
• Strong expertise in reviewing and revising technical documentation such as layouts, flows, and P&IDs
• Experience with EDMS platforms (e.g., SDx Hexagon, Autodesk Vault, Meridian, Documentum) and management systems like SAP is preferred
• Knowledge of electrical and pneumatic diagrams is a plus
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Engineering Practice (GEP) is a plus
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in team environments
• Residence or domicile in Lombardy
• Fluent in English and Italian mother tongue
