This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing all aspects of a busy roofing supplies branch, from sales and customer service to stock and team management. You’ll be responsible for driving growth, building strong trade relationships, and ensuring smooth daily operations.We are seeking a driven and hands-on Branch Manager to lead a busy roofing supplies branch based in Milton Keynes. This role is ideal for someone with experience in merchants or construction products who can manage day-to-day operations while driving commercial growth.You will be responsible for overseeing branch performance, managing a small team, building relationships with trade customers, and ensuring excellent service delivery. From managing stock and logistics to working closely with suppliers and local contractors, you’ll be at the centre of a well-established and growing operation.Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a small on-site team to deliver excellent customer service
• Drive sales through proactive customer engagement and local networking
• Manage stock levels, purchasing, and supplier relationships
• Maintain branch profitability through cost control and commercial decision-making
• Ensure a safe, organised, and well-maintained working environment
• Oversee branch logistics, including same/next-day deliveries
• Support trade account growth through relationship-building with builders, roofers, and contractors

Lead a high-performing team with full branch ownershipWork with a trusted name in building materialsThe ideal candidate will have experience within the roofing or wider building materials trade, with a solid understanding of trade customer needs. They will be commercially minded, hands-on, and confident leading a small team in a fast-paced environment. A background in branch, trade counter, or merchant operations is highly desirable.Our client is a well-established roofing supplies distributor based in Milton Keynes, known for their strong trade reputation and long-standing relationships within the construction industry. • £50,000 – £55,000 basic salary
