Our client is seeking a resolution focused Building Surveyor to work in their Repairs Service. The candidate will be expected to provide excellent customer service at every stage of the customer experience.Job Purpose:
1. To offer a resolution focused surveying service providing excellent customer service at
every stage to enhance the reputation of the Brent Housing property service including:
2. To deliver a comprehensive technical surveying function incorporating diagnosis,
specification, ordering, supervision and communication in order to maximise
effectiveness and financial performance.
3. Strong contractor management, to ensure that performance levels are maintained and
early escalation of issues to ensure they are resolved promptly and in line with
contractual obligations.Work for a leading Local Authority|Hybrid working and competitive hourly rate with weekly pay.The successful candidate:– The ideal candidate will have excellent technical surveying knowledge, an in depth understanding of building pathology, defect diagnosis, specification writing and contract management.
– The candidate will be expected to have experience ordering repair works using NHF schedule of rates, have the ability to co-ordinate and supervise works in progress and demonstrate excellent communication to residents and customers, in order to achieve project success upon completion, whilst adhering to strict completion targets.
– Experience in contractor management is a requirement and the ability to monitor and maintain performance levels and early escalation of issues to ensure a positive outcome for our experience.Our client is a leading Local Authority in London.What is on offer?
