Bus Network Planning Intern (French & English required) – September 2024

Your Mission

We are looking for a Network Planning Intern to join the Operated Buses team at BlaBlaCar. The Network Analyst team is in charge of designing the bus network to match supply and demand.

As a Network planning Intern, your role will be to support the team in the monthly operations and in the development of the network for the years to come . You will be reporting to the Network Planning team Lead Hugo Josien and working with a team of 8.

Your responsibilities

• Coordinate for the Network team the crossed operations involving our internal stakeholders (Operational Excellence, Procurement, Revenue management)
• Run data analysis on topics such as competitiveness, punctuality, bus scheduling, and weekly modulation
• Support the extension of our network during Spring 25 : Our business will substantially grow in early April and we need to be prepared to adjust the new operations during the ramp-up.
• Support the Team in the 2025 Network design (new destinations, administrative processes, new features needed on our tools …)

Your qualifications

• You currently pursue a Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Transport Management, Transport and Mobility or Quantitative Economy
• You are interested in data analysis; having a first experience in a data-driven role is a plus
• Full working proficiency in English & French

• Nice to have: First experience or strong interest in mobility and transport
• Having an internship agreement from your school or university is mandatory. We won’t be able to proceed with your application otherwise
