Job description

Data and Process Management Office (DPMO) acts as the leading function for the data governance programme of the Bank in the UK. It is responsible for establishing and ensuring implementation of related policies including data governance policies and undertaking data lifecycle management to ensure data standards and data quality. As a Business Analyst – Mandarin Speaking, you will be responsible for business process analysis and assist in enhancing the automation process for the Bank. This is a full time permanent position.Key requirements

• Carry out process analysis and provide solutions on how to enhance the automation process across the Bank
• Assist and support all business departments to formulate business requirements for IT department to implement them accordingly
• Carry out assessment of the Business Requirement Documents (BRD) raised by various departments to ensure quality
• Carry out data analysis in relation to any IT project
• Develop processes and polices related to business requirements management
• Work closely with IT department and business lines in the development, testing, implementing and upgrading of IT projects across the Bank
• Develop a good understanding of IT related policies and procedures of the Bank and the functions of the existing IT platforms and applications in the Bank
• Produce relevant reports required by Management, Auditors or Regulators

Person specification

• Degree educated in Finance, Business, IT or other equivalent
• Solid Business Analysis experience within the Financial Services industry
• Good awareness and understanding of current Regulatory Compliance requirements
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Access, Project, Visio, SQL, Python and Tableau is desirable
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Good time management skill and able to work in a fast paced environment
• Attention to details
• Team player
• Excellent English and Mandarin communication skills
