Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong Project Management and Financial Reporting expertise to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving initiatives related to financial systems, reporting frameworks, and operational improvements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance standards.Key Responsibilities:Business Analysis:

• Gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements for financial reporting systems and processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and optimize financial reporting workflows and ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Conduct gap analysis and recommend innovative solutions to meet reporting and compliance standards.
• Create and maintain functional specifications, data models, and process diagrams.

Financial Reporting:

• Support the design, development, and implementation of robust financial reporting frameworks.
• Work with finance and accounting teams to improve month-end close processes and reporting timelines.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
• Provide expertise in the integration and utilization of financial tools, such as Oracle ERP, SAP, or other reporting platforms.

Project Management:

• Plan, execute, and deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget, using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
• Manage project timelines, risks, and resources, and maintain project documentation.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, and external vendors.
• Lead stakeholder meetings to ensure alignment and provide updates on project progress.

Data Analysis and Insights:

• Extract, transform, and analyze data to support decision-making and performance reporting.
• Create dashboards and visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel to present actionable insights.
• Monitor KPIs and financial metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5–8 years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on financial reporting and project management.
• Proficiency in financial reporting tools and systems (e.g., Oracle Financials, SAP, Hyperion, Workday).
• Strong project management skills with experience in tools like Jira, MS Project, or similar.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholders at all levels.
• Analytical mindset with exceptional problem-solving abilities.

Expected salary

£45000 – 50000 per year
