Summary of the role

• Work using existing procedures or guidelines and provides inputs to support/influence area decisions. Makes recommendations on new solutions and proposes improvements by analyzing different sources of information.
• Has the required technical/functional knowledge and experience in own discipline. Knowledge of the Amadeus business and how it is related to own area.

Your main responsibilities

• Ensure economic transparency and provide business management advice to the organizational unit and cost center managers in charge & track project costs.
• Use FinOps tools and instruments to analyze Public Cloud costs, analyze and maintain allocation drivers to service & product costing. Provide recommendations to the operational management on how to reach their objectives.
• Preparing reports and decision-making documents for business management issues.
• Recommend and implement the tools for the management to lead the organization. Provide relevant information to our internal customers to help them to pilot their area.
• Advise on impact of business decisions, on cost reduction opportunities, on sourcing strategy; on accounting rules, financial policies and governance.

About the ideal candidate

• University degree in Finance / Controlling, Engineering, Business Analysis or equivalent.
• More than two years of professional experience in Finance/Controlling or equivalent.
• Computer skills and knowledge of office software packages and Controlling related Software such as SAP or equivalent.
• Fluent in English, B2 level in German language is an advantage.
