Involving public, private and third sectors through a case-based learning and practice approach, and drawing upon front-line activities of groups such as the NHS Innovation Leads, through to international knowledge and expertise of international partners and networks.The All-Wales Academy for Innovation in Health and Social Care welcomes applications for postgraduate research study from individuals working for Health and Social Care in Wales. Organisational support for professional learners is required, including consideration of how the research activity and output relates to the policy and/or practice. Topics can relate to any aspect of innovation which focuses on delivering against the Priorities of a Healthier Wales. Applications will be selected on the basis of this contribution, and against the eligibility criteria listed below.RequirementsResearch Field Management sciences Education Level Bachelor Degree or equivalentSkills/QualificationsApplicants for the PhD must hold a master’s degree from an approved university.Applicants will normally be expected to have a minimum of five years’ experience in a senior role.All applicants will be contacted by two representatives of the programme leadership team (normally including the programme director), and will be expected to demonstrate the drive and intellectual ability to undertake the research programme.IELTS 6.5 Overall (with no individual component below 6.5) or Swansea University recognised equivalent.As well as academic qualifications, Admissions decisions may be based on other factors, including (but not limited to): the standard of the research synopsis/proposal, performance at interview, intensity of competition for limited places, and relevant professional experience.Specific RequirementsDue to funding restrictions, this scholarship is open to applicants eligible to pay tuition fees at the UK rate only, as defined by .Additional InformationBenefitsAs part of this programme we are able to offer several full-fee scholarships to professional learners from across Wales, working with the following:
