Business Partner Demand Planning Commercial

The opportunity

We are looking for a Business Partner Demand Planning Commerical to join our team in Luxembourg. 

On this position you will : 

• Implement/lead a methodical & standardized forecasting approach for the responsible business area using Machine Learning forecast as a base
• Ensure that processes are transparent and standardized.
• Partner with Revenue Management to sign-off the 18-24 month forecast in the monthly market/hub DSO
• Gather and align market/hub assumptions with multiple stakeholders as input in to the forecast
• Operational Excellence: Provide a robust and fact-based 19 to 24-months rolling forecast for the area of responsibility. Coordinate cross-functional research activities and reconcile significant variances. Ensure that the monthly forecast submission deadlines are respected.
• Manage KPIs to ensure that forecast accuracy targets are achieved and conduct root cause analytics to lead corrective actions
• Continuous Improvement: Propose and implement improvements. Support BU focus initives as required
• Lead the demand planning processes and operations. Ensure that appropriate forecasting processes and methods are in place, standardized (One Goodyear Way), transparent and documented.
• Provide a robust and fact-based 19 to 24-months rolling forecast for the area of responsibility. Be the market expert in forecasting and demand planning businesswise as well as systemwise.
• Ensure alignment with business direction and consistency with market/ customer trends. Serve as liaison between Revenue Management, Product Marketing, Market Research Intelligence and Supply Planning.”
• Achieve continuous improvement of the accuracy of demand forecasts. Be responsible for champion new ideas and approaches.
• Develop forecast mindedness and establish a general feeling of performance of one’s responsible area.

To join our team you will need:

Education:

University (Masters) Degree in Business Administration or Logistics/Supply Chain.

Experience:

• Experience in supply chain end to end processes and demand planning is an asset.
• Desired 3-5 years’ experience in Supply Chain, Demand planning, or Revenue Management environment.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Profound knowledge of Microsoft tools.
• Service and result oriented.
• Team spirit. Eager to learn. High sense of ownership.
• Analytics/data oriented.
• Business finance basics
• Ability to work fast and in detail under time pressure and on multiple tasks at the same time.
