About the role:Our increasingly large and complex projects require streamlined processes across divisions.
Global Procurement, the procurement organization that supports Jan De Nul’s global operations, is therefore experiencing strong growth and change. In that context, a Procurement Center of Excellence (COE) was established whose mission is to scrutinize, optimize and streamline procurement processes. The COE is also the Procurement partner for strategic projects within Jan De Nul. All these improvement projects contribute to our culture of continuous improvement.Together with the Procurement Excellence Manger, Procurement Management and the buyers, you will form a close collaborative team that challenges the organization and brings it closer to Procurement Excellence.What you’ll do:As a Business Process Analyst within Jan De Nul, a versatile range of tasks awaits you, including
– Executing projects according to proven Operational Excellence methodologies
– Guiding and supporting teams in the start-up of new improvement projects
– Follow up and evaluate the projects during implementation
– Help securing process improvements within the organization
– Perform data analysis and process observations. Conduct research on the needs of the teams.
– Identify and identify opportunities within the organization
– Formulate, align and prioritize new improvement initiatives
– Feedback improvement results to the Procurement Excellence Manager and the entire Procurement organization
– Support and train for the implementation of our new ERP package
– Support, train and coach problem-solving improvement techniquesWhat you need
You are a Bachelor or Master in an economic or technical field and have a minimum of 3 years of experience within the field of Continuous Improvement and/or Operational Excellence,preferably in a corporate environment.
Your skills & personal attributes;
– You are a team player and have strongly developed soft skills
– You are a coach by nature and enjoy facilitating groups
– You like to share your ideas and trigger them in others
– You like to work according to a structure and can balance detail and pragmatism well
– You prefer to work in a project setting and know the do’s & don’ts of Project Management
– You think in processes, cause-and-effect relationships and can clearly map these with your process mapping skills
– You are driven by finding solutions
– You have a customer-oriented mindset and are strong in stakeholder management
– You are communicatively strong and know how to positively influence and motivate others
– You are sufficiently assertive, persuasive and diplomatic
– You are energized by a dynamic environment with changing priorities
– You can work independently and are strong in time management
– Fluent in speaking and writing in Dutch, English and French
