Applications are invited for the post of Campus Watch Safety Officer within the Security team, Estates Department.
Duties within the role will include maintaining the provision of a safe environment for our residential students and visitors to the College. Respond to incidents and welfare concerns; work closely with other departments to provide pastoral care support to our students, and to protect the College’s property and assets.
It is desirable that applicants have a good appreciation of student issues within the Higher Education sector. You must have excellent customer service skills. Candidates should also possess a clean driving license, as team members are required to drive college vehicles when necessary. Knowledge of fire safety and first aid is desirable but full training will be provided as will a work uniform.
The Campus Watch Safety Officer shift pattern covers the core hours of 9.30pm – 7am (365 days a year).
The working week will total 25.5 hours. You may also be required to support the security team in providing assistance during holidays, training, absenteeism and College events.
You will undergo training on appointment. Please note the training may take place during the daytime.

This is a part-time and permanent post that is immediately available and based in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.
