This is a fantastic opportunity for a current Care Team Leader or Care Manager looking to take the next step in their career or an existing Care Home Deputy Manager seeking a new challenge.Key Responsibilities as Care Home Deputy Manager:– Assist the Care Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the care home.
– Provide strong leadership and support to the care team, ensuring high standards of care are consistently delivered.
– Oversee the development and implementation of care plans tailored to the individual needs of residents.
– Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
– Manage staff rotas and ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained.
– Conduct staff training and development programs to enhance the skills of the care team.
– Support the Care Home Manager in audits and inspections, and implement any required changes.
– Foster a positive and inclusive environment for residents and staff.Skills and Qualifications Required for Care Home Deputy Manager:– Previous experience in a similar role within a care home setting, either as an existing care home deputy manager or care team leader / care manager etc stepping up.
– Strong leadership and management skills.
– Experience in an elderly care home setting.
