The
Careers and Employability department at the University of Chester is looking to
appoint to our Career Consultant Team.
This
is a wonderful opportunity to join our team of friendly, innovative and
supportive Career Consultants working with our great colleagues across Careers
& Employability. We are passionate about developing the employability
skills of our students and graduates and helping them to achieve their goals and
the role of Career Consultant enables you to support us in these aims.
The
role involves enhancing the employability of our students and graduates by
delivering one-to-one advice and guidance and also through working closely with
academic staff to provide bespoke inputs to the curriculum at all course
levels. We are looking to appoint someone who enjoys working collaboratively
and who shares our commitment to these activities.
You
should have an undergraduate degree, together with a level 6 or equivalent qualification
in careers guidance (or nearing completion of a level 6 qualification) and preferably
some experience in careers guidance and employability delivery. Alternative
qualifications such as Career Coaching, Youth and Community Work and Teaching
will be considered.
