£22,162 to £22,522 per annum pro-rata £11.76-11.95 per hour. Posts will initially be offered at the minimum salary point with progression to the higher salary point achieved. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Your role as a Catering Assistant:
We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking people, who have a keen eye for detail and excellent customer service skills who will take pride in their work and who enjoy working in fast paced Catering Environments.
Based within a busy Catering Unit on University Park the main duties for the role will include serving a wide range food and beverages, food preparation, using the till, clearing tables and general cleaning within a busy unit, providing excellent customer service at all times.
Experience of working in a similar fast paced food service environment is essential for this role.

Available Posts:
Hours of work 30 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 to be arranged, mainly Monday to Friday with occasional weekends between 7.30am and 4.30pm for 52 weeks of the year. Flexibility will be required
These positions are offered, on a permanent basis working throughout the full calendar year, 52-weeks of the year (including outside of term and student vacation periods).
Please note: these are core positions within the unit successful candidates will be required to be available to work any time and day of the week and available to work a range of shifts (early, midday or late shifts) between the hours advertised for 52 weeks of the year.

The successful candidate for this post will be expected to attend the Estates and Facilities training courses which will run each month, Monday to Friday mornings. Further details will be given at interview.
The interviews for these posts are informal and will take no longer than 20 minutes.
Posts will initially be offered at the minimum salary point with progression to the higher salary point achieved through an annual incremental pay rise.
