Our historic Hotel, with its Michelin-starred Italian restaurant and a locally inspired Spa where you can spend afternoons in pure indulgence, is just steps away from the cultural heart of Florence.Catering Coordinator – 2025 Summer SeasonWe are currently looking for a talented Catering Coordinator to join our Team at Four Seasons Hotel Florence!The Role of Catering CoordinatorThe Catering Coordinator receives and responds to incoming calls in line with Four Seasons standards, ensuring professionalism and friendliness. They prepare written correspondence, including contracts, reports, and banquet event orders, while updating hotel software and managing event bookings. The coordinator maintains both electronic and paper files, distributes catering correspondence, and manages inventory of department supplies. They assist with front-of-house operations as needed, handle event functions, and manage vendor coordination for events. Additionally, the coordinator executes site inspections, participates in departmental meetings, and supports the team in addressing client needs when the management team is unavailable.Our ideal Catering Coordinator candidate will have:You must have academic education or equivalent experience. Previous secretarial, hotel, or related experience is required, with Food & Beverage experience considered a plus. Strong personal presentation, interpersonal skills, an outgoing personality, and a can-do attitude are essential. Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and strategic thinking are necessary, as well as the ability to multitask, work under pressure, and be a team player. Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and the internet, are required, along with fluency in both Italian and English, both written and spoken.This position is based at the Four Seasons Hotel Florence and the contract is seasonal.
