Kennedys is looking for a Claims Handler to join the Insurance Division. The role will involve managing medical malpractice claims for a number of well-known insurers.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team with excellent long term progression opportunities . Clients

• Medical malpractice insurers and their insured
• Aesthetics and cosmetic insurers and their insureds
• Insured independent hospital groups
• Insured healthcare practitioners

Cases

• A wide range of medical malpractice claims, including but not limited to, errors during cosmetic treatments or aftercare, complaints and claims against individual clinicians, dentists or hospitals.

Required experience

• Claims handling experience or alternatively paralegal experience (preferably gained at a defendant insurance law firm or with the insurance market).
• Experience of Medical Malpractice claims is ideal but not essential
• Liaison with clients, provision of customer service
• Use of electronic case management systems.
