We are seeking an experienced Azure Migration Cloud Architect to lead and manage the migration of on-premise systems and infrastructure to the Azure cloud. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Azure services, cloud architecture, and migration strategies, helping our client achieve a seamless and efficient transition to the cloud.Role Type:

- Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and migrating applications to Microsoft Azure.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture, cloud-native services, and best practices.
- Experience with cloud migration tools and strategies for moving workloads to Azure, including hybrid environments.
- Solid understanding of security principles, compliance, and cloud governance.
- Ability to work closely with development, operations, and business teams to drive migration projects.
Tasks Description:
- Lead and design the architecture for migrating on-premise infrastructure and applications to the Azure cloud.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the architecture is scalable, secure, and aligned with business goals.
- Provide guidance on Azure best practices, security, and cost optimization throughout the migration process.
- Develop and execute migration plans, including defining timelines, resources, and milestones.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during migration, ensuring a smooth transition to the cloud.
- Perform assessments of existing infrastructure and recommend cloud-native solutions for optimization and performance improvement.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure the ongoing health and performance of cloud resources post-migration.
Essential Skills/Experience Description:
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with at least 3+ years specifically focused on Azure cloud migrations.
- Proven experience in designing and executing cloud migration strategies, including lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and re-architecting applications for the cloud.
- Deep knowledge of Azure services, including compute, networking, storage, identity management, and monitoring.
- Expertise in Azure migration tools (e.g., Azure Migrate, ASR, Azure Site Recovery).
- Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance best practices in Azure.
- Experience in optimizing cloud architectures for performance, scalability, and cost.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in Azure.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
Desirable Skills/Additional Information Description:
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Certified DevOps Engineer).
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments or multi-cloud strategies.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or ARM templates.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized workloads in Azure.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex architectural issues.
