Become part of the Qorvo Automotive team defining next generation Secure Access products. In this role, you will lead our efforts to defining and providing end to end solutions delivering exceptional user experiences by understanding our users’ needs (customers or partners) and seamlessly guiding them through their journey. You will be responsible for establishing new system requirements, leading a team of System, Hardware and Software architect.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Become a key part of the ACBU Secure Access group, actively contribute to applications definition and development, market and product strategies and long term product roadmaps.
• Create SRDs (System Requirement Documents) and kick-off POC for new product development in advance of roadmap requirements.
• Cooperate with our chip product definition team to ensure our UWB silicon developments
• Drive your team to innovate new applications targeting complex use cases aligned with the automotive market, validate with customers user experience and drive new requirements to be implemented into future product development.
• In coordination with engineering and 3rd party vendors, take responsibility for definition, development and delivery of our commercial applications aligned to market use cases fro the Automotive market.
• Interface with marketing, sales and bus dev to support the promotion of the products
• Manage and develop relationships with strategic partners and complementary product vendors, to make sure that our products are well positioned in the ecosystem
• Participate in project follow up meetings – internal & external – including weekly meetings with Qorvo local teams and customers as required.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

• 20+ years work experience in a technical management role in a similar technology
• Strongly Self-driven and self-motivated and capable of taking full ownership of his/her activities, and to involve other functions in the company or management when needed to bring them to a successful outcome;
• Proven business acumen, good balance of technical, business and management skills
• Automotive, Enterprise, Industrial markets dynamics
• Strong understanding across systems, digital, RF, software
• Comfortable with multi-tasking;
• Fast learner on new technology / new applications / new products
• Comfortable in presenting to audiences of different backgrounds
• Capable to communicate in a concise and effective way
• Understanding of the Customer Client Relationship
• Cross-cultural knowledge for effective communications with colleagues and partners world-wide

QUALIFICATION / EDUCATION

• Engineering / Master’s degree in Electronics/Software/RF
• MBA would be an asset
