We have an opportunity for a Commercial Finance Manager Sales to lead the Finance Sales function within Musgrave Wholesale & Foodservice.This role is part of the Musgrave Wholesale & Foodservice Senior Finance Team, reporting directly to the Commercial Financial Controller. The Commercial Finance Manager Sales leads out in providing sales reporting, business partnering, and planning support to the Musgrave Wholesale & Foodservice business including Sales.Key responsibilities include but not limited to:Manage the weekly sales reporting process ensuring variances versus target and LY are understood and communicated.Ensure that key daily, weekly, and periodic performance reporting is accessible, user focused, and action orientated.Deliver support to budget owners to understand key sales trends.Lead the business in the completion of the Budget, Forecast and 3 Year Plans for Sales.Support the development and execution of the business strategy and annual business plan.Support the Musgrave Wholesale & Foodservice Management team on all commercial projects/initiatives.Proactively support commercial decisions such as new business tenders and add value to the decision-making process.Ensure no surprises at quarterly hard close and year end audit, all areas of judgement are appropriately supported and align on any key decisions with the Financial Accounts team.Ensure compliance with all Musgrave governance and identifying and escalating risk when required.Support in the identification and delivery of initiatives to drive optimization and simplification in ways of working for the Finance team.Encourage, motivate, and develop the skills and wellbeing of the Finance team.The ideal candidate will have:Professional Accountancy Qualification – ACA, CIMA, ACCA, etc.Business degree or other relevant professional qualification.2+ years’ experience in a business partnering role.Possess the leadership qualities to lead and develop a motivated team.Significant experience managing stakeholders and operating at a senior level within an organization.Demonstrate potential to be a future Commercial Financial Controller.Essential SkillsAbility to build relationships and deal confidently with internal and external customersStakeholder engagement and managementMakes decisions at pace; works in a disciplined way and adapts course quickly when requiredProject management and change management skillsProcess excellence and systems drivenFlexible and adaptableResults drivenInterpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to quickly establish credibility at all levels in the organizationSolid experience in managing and overseeing the strategy planning processMusgrave is an equal opportunities employer.
