At PayFit we understand that you can gain applicable skills through a variety of life experiences and we are interested in knowing them, too.Your role :– You will be part of the Global Legal team composed of 8 people working for France, Spain and the UK.– You will work as a business partner to support operational teams on the legal aspects of their projects.– You will handle all Commercial Legal topics and will report directly to our Head of Legal.– You will work in collaboration with another Commercial Legal Counsel.This position is based in France.Your missions :As a Commercial Legal Counsel, you will handle a great variety of cutting-edge legal topics on your own supported by the Head of Legal.You will be mainly in charge of :– handling the legal relationship with our customers and partners by supporting our sales, customer success, and business teams (contracts negotiations, training, creating/updating templates, managing customer’s requests)– managing the legal aspects of our product’s new features, integrations, and projects with the product teams (General terms of use, user journey, API connections, product partnerships)– supporting the brand marketing team in the legal aspects of their projects (advertising campaigns, events, communications, etc.)– handling the Legal Ops initiatives for the Legal Team (implement tools and processes to ease the Legal team’s daily work)You will also be able to :– Ensure the protection of our immaterial assets (trademarks, domain names, software, etc.)– Work with local external counsel and hand-in-hand with other global legal team members (France & abroad)This job has been tailored for you if :– You have a master’s degree in contract law, business law, IP/IT law – the French Bar Association is a great +– You have at least 2 years of experience (in addition to your internships) as a legal counsel in commercial/contract law and IT law (french law)– You have legal skills that you apply in a practical and business-oriented way– You have excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills (in French and English)– You are a problem solver and adaptable to change– You are autonomous, rigorous & organized– You are structured i.e. able to present your topics, your analysis, and your recommendations.– An experience in a B2B SaaS company or a Law Firm specializing in tech and/or IP is a big +Hiring process :– Interview with a recruiter (45 mn)– Interview with a team member (45 mn)– Case study with the hiring manager (60 mn)– Interview with the VP Legal (45 mn)You will have the possibility to meet the legal team at the end of the hiring process.=
