Do you share our passion of renewable energy for a greener and sustainable future?We are currently looking to recruit a Commercial Project Manager on a permanent basis to join our team based at our head office in Didsbury, Manchester.How can you make a difference?This role is a crucial part to our projects team, which undertakes projects ranging from small contracts (small number of wind turbines where our responsibility is to supply, install and commission the turbines only) to large, turn-key projects where Nordex is responsible for building the entire multi-turbine wind farm. Projects range in value from £5m-£150m.What will you be doing?Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Commercial management of projects throughout to the settlement of final account.
• Bond and Warranties tracking and applications.
• Payment Application / Certificates Management.
• Variations/both Head and Subcontract.
• Claims Management of both Head and Subcontract.
• Management of logistics and back-office cost
• Coordination of communications with Subcontractors and Clients.
• Cash Planning and Forecasting.
• Coordination with the Construction, Procurement and Finance Departments in the closing of Subcontracts.
• Monthly reporting to tight time scales

What are we looking for?The successful candidate will hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field and have recent experience in a similar role, preferably within the renewables sector.You will hold or actively working towards MRICS membership and have a strong understanding of cost management, contract administration and financial planning, Team work and Drive.Recruitment ProcessThe closing date for this role is Monday 10th February 2025, however, please be aware that this role could close early if we receive an overwhelming response.The first stage of the recruitment process requires you to submit your CV via the Apply Now button.
