Our efforts collectively enhance the social enterprise sector, reaching the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and contribute to addressing the global challenges of today and tomorrow.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic and proactive Communications and Events Officer to support the growth of our work.The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, is organised, creative, analytical, detail-oriented, with excellent writing and social skills. They should be capable of working independently with a strong ‘can-do’ attitude. Passion for driving positive social and environmental change and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment are essential.In this role, you will co-lead the communications and events management work of EN, ensuring a consistent delivery of high-quality content and events across all EN, community and partner platforms.Your responsibilities will include developing and executing strategic communication plans at EN organisational level and project level, managing media relations and overseeing and supporting the creation and dissemination of engaging content such as reports, articles and newsletters. You will also take the lead in event management and the organisation, planning and execution of high-level events. This may include conferences, webinars and workshops that bring together social enterprise leaders, innovators and policy makers. Additionally, you will co-lead the communications efforts within various projects that EN leads or participates in, coordinating with project partners and stakeholders. These activities enhance the visibility and impact of the work undertaken by EN and our members across the social enterprise ecosystem.Key responsibilities

EN offers a competitive salary and additional benefits. We provide 31 days of annual leave, next to public holidays. EN offers a hybrid working environment, working partially from the office in The Hague and partially from home or other locations (abroad). EN employees receive an excellent private pension scheme, employee insurance and travel allowance. The work environment provides ample opportunities to learn and develop on the job, as well as through the network, through training and personal development support. Each employee is provided with a Macbook and iPhone, or can consider using their own preferred devices. We are open to discussing a 0.8 FTE role (32 hours).
