About the Role

We are looking for a mid-level, creative communications professional to manage our external communications. This is an exciting opportunity to strategically influence our institutional approach to communication with responsibility for our external brand and online presence. This is a varied and evolving role which requires design flair and the ability to create engaging content for various platforms to disseminate messages, products and promote our services to a diverse range of global stakeholders.

The role will deliver the organisation’s communication strategy, working across all thematic portfolios and teams.

We are seeking creative candidates who want to create meaningful and impactful content and will thrive in a smaller, specialist consultancy organisation where there is scope to shape and evolve our approach and thinking.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Summary of role

Reports to: Deputy Head of Communications

Location: This is a UK-based role. You must have eligibility to work in the UK.

Our London Head Office works on a hybrid basis – we are open to flexible working.

Appointment term: Permanent, full-time employment contract.

Remuneration Package: £32,000 – £40,000 (an appointment will be made commensurate with experience)

This is a Communications Lead role (please see person specifications below) sitting within the Business Development and Communications Team.

You will be creative with strong design skills to facilitate the delivery of our communications strategy, help evolve our brand, and manage our website and social media channels.

The post requires working across the organisation with a range of stakeholders as part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team. As well as being a strong, collaborative team player, you will have the ability and initiative to work with minimal supervision. You will need to demonstrate high levels of professionalism, and an understanding of the sensitivity and ethics associated with broad ranging global audiences.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Influence and implement effective communication strategies.
  • Create engaging content for various platforms to disseminate messages, products and promote our services to a diverse range of global stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of our institutional brand and provide tools and guidance for the organisation.
  • Manage and update our company website.
  • Manage our company social media.
  • Organise initiatives and plan company events.
  • Support the broader organisation to more effectively promote our engagement at key events and in communities of practice.
