This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.

We welcome applications from candidates interested in working part-time hours or job-sharing arrangements.

This new part-time post is available from 1st September 2023 for one day per week on a fixed term basis until 31st July 2024.

Summary of the role

The Communications Manager will support the work of the new Pharma Pollution Hub, a non-profit initiative embedded within the University of Exeter that is dedicated to reducing the environmental impact of medicines used in human healthcare . This University of Exeter funded post is available from 1st September 2023 to 31st July 2024. The successful applicant will work with all members of the Hub team to proactively coordinate and deliver the communication and dissemination activities for the initial year of the Hub. The main purpose of these activities will be to raise awareness of the issue of pharmaceutical pollution from human healthcare, build the reputation of the Hub as a national co-ordinating body, encourage and support wide engagement from stakeholders from across the pharmaceutical life cycle, and maintain good internal communications amongst members of the Pharma Pollution Consortium.
