The University of the Arts London (UAL) is seeking a motivated and talented Communications Manager (International) to join our dynamic communications team. Reporting to the Head of External Communications, you will play a crucial role in enhancing UAL’s reputation and global impact by developing and implementing an external communications strategy. This is a brand new role where the postholder will devise and execute a strategic approach to building relationships with key media, working closely with UAL’s leading academics and researchers.  Working closely with colleagues in UAL’s Research and Knowledge Exchange and International Relations Unit teams. The post-holder will use communications, and external affairs methods to raise the profile of our impactful research, innovative practice and thought leadership, and build social purpose partnerships that can deliver on our strategic objectives in target markets overseas, focusing on North America initially.

The post sits within the University’s recently formed Social Purpose Group. The group brings together communications, the new Social Purpose Lab, fundraising and UAL’s recently launched Storytelling Institute. Together, the group will enable UAL to change and shape the world for the better.
