Title: Community Climate Action Coordinator

Hours: Full time 35 hours per week

Salary: £32k – £35k per year depending on experience
Contract type: Temporary – 18 month contract with potential to extend
depending on funding
Annual leave: 25 days per year + bank holidays
Reports to: PDT Health and Communities Programme Manager
Location: North Paddington (Queens Park, Harrow Road and Westbourne Wards)

We are looking for someone with a proven record of empowering people to achieve great things
together for this exciting new role. The successful candidate will have good knowledge of urban
sustainability issues, vision to see opportunities and the initiative and organisational skills
to make the most of them.

As part of the North Paddington Programme and based at PDT, the Community Climate Action
Coordinator will work with local residents, community partners and City of Westminster Council
to increase engagement with projects that reduce carbon emissions, support biodiversity and
improve local green spaces. They will do this by: supporting local green networks; managing a
team of climate volunteers; connecting existing projects to new resources and funding; and
coordinating the development of new projects.
