An exciting opportunity has arisen for us to recruit a dedicated, passionate, mental health practitioner to join our core mental health teamApplications from Band 5 with an interest in career progression are welcomeThe core team provide assessment and interventions for children and young people with complex, severe, and persistent emotional wellbeing and mental health problems providing care as described in NICE guidance. As a specialist mental health team we support young people with moderate, severe and enduring mental health and emotional wellbeing difficulties.You will join our existing Multi-Disciplinary team of professionals, and will have the opportunity to work alongside an extensive range of individuals with varying professional backgrounds. This includes psychiatrists, psychologists, occupational therapists, family and systemic practitioner.The service is going through an exciting period of transformation and we need skilled people to be a valued member of the journey with us.There will be scope for creativity in this team, to develop evidence based interventions, to think systemically and work collaboratively with children, young people and families, informed by the local Transformation Plan, Future in Mind and the THRIVE framework. It really is time to think differently and creatively about how we can help more children and young people with their emotional wellbeing and mental health.Main duties of the job
