Reporting line: Reports to the VP HR EMEAJob overview:As the Compensation & Benefits Lead EMEA, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the reward strategy across all EMEA entities. Your primary mission is to ensure the effective administration of compensation and benefits programs, payroll activities, and HR process automation. You will play a crucial role in maintaining internal equity and external market competitiveness, while driving cost optimisation initiatives and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.Key responsibilities:Reward Strategy Development and Implementation

  • Develop and implement reward policies, practices, and processes in line with group policies.
  • Ensure the correct application of these policies to maintain internal equity and market competitiveness.

Compensation and Benefits Administration

  • Oversee the administration of salaries, incentives, retirement plans, fringe benefits, and insurances.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of all compensation and benefits programs.

Job Grading and Evaluation

  • Implement the job grading structure and ensure accurate grading of individual job descriptions.
  • Collaborate with the Group to align grading methodologies.

Cost Optimization and Budget Management

  • Validate invoices and control expenses against the budget.
  • Initiate cost optimization measures such as provider revisions and process insourcing/outsourcing.

Compliance and Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with tax, social security, labour law, and immigration regulations.
  • Supervise payroll activities and personnel administration at local and EMEA level.
  • Manage inbound and outbound assignees in collaboration with external tax consultants and the Proximus Group.

HR Process Automation

  • Lead HR process automation initiatives across all HR domains.
  • Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Group HRIS-related projects.

Team Leadership and Collaboration

  • Lead, motivate, and coach the team.
  • Foster interaction with Proximus HR stakeholders in relevant domains.

Ad Hoc Projects

  • Participate in ad hoc projects such as mergers and acquisitions, CLA negotiations with unions, etc.

Your Profile

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in compensation and benefits management.
  • Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and drive process improvements.
  • High level of integrity and trust.
