Robert Half is currently recruiting a Compliance & Tax Manager to join a global company who is a leader in its field.Our client is located near Antwerp.As a Compliance & Tax Manager, your responsibilities will entail:

• Ensuring compliance in relation to withholding taxes, corporate income tax, VAT regulations, and transfer pricing within the group.
• Preparing and managing group tax reports in line with regulatory requirements.
• Supervising tax audits and providing accurate and timely responses to tax authorities.
• Collaborating with finance team members at both corporate and local levels.
• Ensuring timely filing of tax and transfer pricing returns across the group.
• Liaising with local tax advisors and tax lawyers as appropriate.
• Managing the statutory annual accounts of the company.
• Monitoring and optimizing the Effective Tax Rate (ETR) and the tax cash out.

The successful candidate should have:

• A Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in tax compliance and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of direct and indirect tax regulations.
• Solid accounting background (experience with Belgian GAAP is mandatory; IFRS knowledge is a plus).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in SAP and proficiency in Dutch are advantageous.
