We help our customers across the value chain to reduce operating costs and improve productivity.Partner with the bestAs System Engineer, you will be in charge of system definition and process integration for trains composed by gas turbines, electric motors, steam turbine, turbo expanders, centrifugal compressors and reciprocating compressors. You will supervise quality and timeliness of engineering systems integration deliverables based on customers’ satisfaction, testing goals accomplishment, cost-out strategy implementation and site installation/service support, ensuring the balance between design flexibility needs and standard configuration adoption.As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for:You will be responsible for development and finalization of the main document for auxiliary systems design (P&IDs).Conducting and successfully complete HAZOP meetings and SIL review for personnel safety and asset integrity managementDeveloping predictive system design through modeling and numerical simulation (Matlab/Simulink, FloMaster, Hysis)Leading System Design Review assuring action are completed in time and in qualityWorking close to Projects Engineers and other departments to facilitate smooth projects execution.Providing wide expertise on turbomachinery operation and relevant auxiliary system designContribute with technical expertise to new energy technology solutions development such as Hydrogen, CO2, CCUS and Energy storage.Building relations with all involved Engineering, Procurement and Field Service functions with IET organizationAttending technical meetings with Customers and suppliers, provide support to testing and supply chain departmentEstablishing and maintaining relationships with required external and internal interfaces to ensure that customer requirements are understood and being achievedContributing to have a flawless execution of design activities, including technical alignments with suppliers.Driving and broadcasting the innovative ideas generation process.Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Have a Master Degree or PhD in Mechanical, Chemical, Energy, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Nuclear, or equivalent engineeringHave robust knowledge of fluid dynamics, mechanical and thermal physical domainsHave robust knowledge of turbomachinery and/or process designHave 3-5 years of experience in O&G engineering environment or other Energy oriented realitiesProven experience with technical problems resolution for turbomachinery and/or complex system designBe able to show good problem-solving, process improvement and analytical skills along with interpersonal skillHave well-developed interpersonal and communication skills acting as team player with ability to influence and motivate othersBe fluent in verbal and written EnglishBe able to interface effectively with all stakeholders, at all level of the organizationDemonstrate ability to drive cultural change within the Organization, with open mind and technical acumenHave a Six Sigma or Black Belt Certification will be considered a plusWork in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
